LEWISTON – The USM Lifeline Institute will offer a certificate in the fundamentals for worksite wellness starting Wednesday, Sept. 24. The six-week training course will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce.
Classes are designed for employers of any size looking to acquire the skills and working knowledge to start a new wellness program or expand an existing one.
Sessions will cover the fundamental building blocks of assessment, design, marketing, implementation and evaluation for best practice worksite programs.
The course is being co-sponsored by Healthy Androscoggin and the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce.
Fees are $285 for Androscoggin Chamber members, $279 for Southern Maine Wellness Council members and $299 for nonmembers. The registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 19.
