NORWAY – David Allan Polley, 43, of Ellingwood Road, South Paris, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Aug. 28, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Lewiston, on April 1, 1965, a son of Charles and Elmyra Harkness Polley.

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a big teddy bear who would do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Paulette Polley of South Paris; his children, Mark Chamberlain of Lewiston and Misty Hatch of North Carolina; stepchildren, Brian Gould and Joshua Drouin, both of South Paris; 11 brothers and sisters, Louise Markham of Oklahoma, Ronald Childs of Florida, Shirley LaBonte of Lewiston, Elizabeth Page of Augusta, Thomas Davis, Kathy Corbett of Richmond, Virginia Hammond of Millinocket, Kenneth Polley of Lewiston, June Sirois of Lewiston, Tammy Pettingill of Mount Vernon, Mark Polley of Lewiston and Lori Musial of Richmond; three grandchildren, Bayleigh, Owen and Anna; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by four siblings, Carol Small, Margaret Malloy, Barbara Rideout and George Rideout.
