AUBURN – Denise Bonk, 54, of Webber Avenue, Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Hospice House, with her family by her side.

She was born on July 22, 1954, the daughter of Roger and Anita Tetreault Doyon.

She attended Holy Cross School and Lewiston High School. For many years, she lived and worked in Florida, having returned to Lewiston five years ago.

Her happiest times were when she was at the ocean and spending time with her family and friends.

She married Peter Bonk on April 28, 1991, in Lewiston.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Bonk of Lewiston; her sons, Brandon Tardif and his companion, Christina Thibault, of Lewiston and Cody Tardif of Sabattus; mother, Anita of Lewiston; sisters, Diane Nadeau of Lewiston and Elaine Lajoie and husband, Gerry, of Sabattus; brothers, Paul Doyon and wife, Maggie, of Lewiston, James Doyon and wife, Vivian, of Greene and David Doyon of Lewiston; nieces, Sarah, Kim and Kelly; nephews, Justin, Jeff and West; great-niece, Alivia; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Roger in November 1962; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and a very dear uncle, Ray, Oct. 19, 1988.

Denise’s family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of the Hospice House for the wonderful care given to her during the final weeks of her life.
