DURHAM – A 17-year-old Brunswick driver escaped apparent injury in a single-vehicle rollover on Cedar Pond Road on Monday night.

Maine State Trooper Tyler Stevenson said Matthew Snyder was driving west on Cedar Pond Road and failed to negotiate a right curve, lost control of his car, which careened off the left shoulder and into a field. The car rolled over onto its roof.

Durham Fire and Rescue personnel checked him at the scene.

Trooper Stevenson estimated damage to Snyder’s 1995 Accura at $5,000 in the 10:22 p.m. crash. No charges were filed.
