AUBURN – Vesta Towle Harnett Lord died Sept. 2.

She was born in Topsham, July 1, 1914, daughter of Sidney and Annie Hutchins Towle. She married Norman Harnett in 1934. He died Aug. 6, 1961. Later in life she was married to Maurice Lord, until his death.

She is survived by her two daughters, Katherine Delan and Marjorie Jennings and their families.

She was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Clive Towle; and a sister, Viola Towle Bibber.
