NORWAY – Charles F. Allard, 64, of Norway, died Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Fryeburg, on Nov. 28, 1943, the son of Charles Fred and Addie Williams Allard. He was educated in Fryeburg and Norway schools.

He had been employed as a woodsman, working at sawmills and factories, including C.B. Cummings and Paris Manufacturing.

He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church on Paris Hill, where he served as an usher. He loved the Lord, and enjoyed having the Bible and hymn book read to him. He enjoyed walking, yard sales and shopping. He married Elaine Kennard on May 27, 1978.

He is survived by his wife of Norway; a brother, William Allard of North Carolina; and two sisters, Ruth Allard of Wayne and Muriel McAllister of Norway.
