KENNEBUNK – Stephanie Marian Hormann, 98, of Huntington Common Drive, died Thursday, Sept. 4, at Bradford on the Common.

She was born in Rumford, on Oct. 5, 1909, a daughter of Charles and Carolyn Jaros. She grew up in Rumford, graduating from Rumford High School.

She was married to Alfred Hormann, who predeceased her in 2001.

She was a homemaker for most of her life, but did work as a secretary for a short period.

She was a longtime communicant of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Lewiston.

In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, watching tennis, following her beloved Boston Celtics, and watching her favorite television shows: Judge Judy, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Blatchford and her husband, Lynd, of North Berwick; three grandchildren, Judith Blatchford of West Harwich, Mass., Sandra Blatchford of Hatchville, Mass., and Karen Blatchford of Leiden, Holland in the Netherlands; her great-grandchildren, Abigail and Jordan; and her grandson-in-law, Carl Gustafson.
