WEST PARIS – Dale and Lorraine Piirainen of West Paris observed their 40th wedding anniversary on July 26 with the renewal of vows at the Mission Congregational Church in West Paris. The Rev. Roger Boucher of New Hampshire, retired commander of the Navy chaplain care, officiated.

Their five grandchildren took part in the ceremony, Anna Piirainen, Madeline Peloke, Veikko Piirainen, Alexander Peloke and Logan Keane. Carl Piirainen Jr. walked Mrs. Piirainen down the aisle.

About 40 family members and friends attended the celebration.
