LEWISTON – A special 60th anniversary party was held July 17 for Fern and Lucette Landry of Lewiston.
Mr. and Mrs. Landry were married on that same day in 1948 at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Lewiston. Lucette Landry, the former Lucette Lamontagne, stayed home to care for her three daughters, while her husband operated Twin City Dental Lab in Lewiston. He retired at the ripe age of 85.
Attending the celebration were their three daughters and sons-in-law, Pat and Jerry Ouellette, Diane and Richard Plourde, and Jeanie and Skip King. Also attending were two out of six grandchildren, Craig Paradis and Tara (Plourde) Roy and her husband, Mike Roy. The other grandchildren are Michael Paradis, Marisa Plourde and Meagan and Matthew King.
Also attending were Mr. Landry’s brother, Lee and his wife, Simonne Landry, and Mrs. Landry’s brother, Ernest Lamontagne, with Donald and Gisele Lamontagne.
The couple also has three great-grandchildren, Aiden James Plourde, Dacyn Jack Roy and Micaela Roy.
