WELLS – Julie Anne Poisson and Aaron Paul Quint exchanged marriage vows Jan. 5 at the Wells Branch Baptist Church in Wells, with welcoming and opening remarks by pastor Peter Leon. The ceremony was performed by pastor Scott Taylor, and a reception followed at the Holiday Inn Portland West.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maria Garrity, a friend, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jenn Poisson, sister, Gena Gaudreau, Audry Rains and Karen Gwaltney, friends, and Amy Booker, sister-in-law.

Royce Quint was best man for his son. Groomsmen were Clay Quint, brother, Kevin Booker, brother-in-law, and Scott Duff, Curt Johnson and Wes Marquis, friends.

The bride is the daughter of Marlene Wilding and Denis Poisson of Wales. She is a 2000 graduate of Oak Hill High School and a 2005 graduate of Springfield College with a master’s degree in physical therapy. She is currently employed at Seton Rehab in Waterville as a physical therapist.

The bridegroom is the son of Royce and Lynda Quint of Hodgdon. He is a 1999 graduate of Greater Houlton Christian Academy, a 2003 graduate of the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and a 2005 graduate of the Maine Criminal Justice Academy. He currently has conditional job offers with the U.S. Border Patrol and the Maine State Police.

The couple spent their honeymoon in the Riveria Maya in Mexico and they currently reside in Winslow.
