AUBURN – Roger E. Roy, 82, formerly of Sabattus, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at Clover Manor.

He was born in Auburn, July 8, 1926, the son of the late Alphege and Melina Brisson Roy. He was educated in Jackman, Auburn and Lewiston schools.

He was married May 2, 1974, to Laurianne Ouellette, who predeceased him April 19, 1990. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the former First Federal Savings and Loan, on the corner of Canal and Chestnut streets, as a parking lot attendant.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Knights of Columbus Council 106 and the Wallace Assembly Fourth Degree.

He is survived by a brother-in-law, Normand Ouellette and wife, Marie, of Lewiston.
