Child ID program
FARMINGTON – The 15th District Masonic Association of the Grand Lodge of Maine will sponsor a Child Identification Program (CHIP), including updates, at the Farmington Fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the old secretary’s office.
Library meeting
NEW VINEYARD – The New Vineyard Public Library will host its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, at the library.

Pick for fuel fund
WILTON – Blueberry pickers will be able to help the Franklin Ecumenical Heating Fund on the next two Sundays.
Jan Collins and Irv Faunce, owner/operators of the Wilton Blueberry Farm, have announced that all proceeds on Sunday, Sept. 14 and 21, will go the heating fund that provides emergency allocations of fuel to Franklin County residents. The farm is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
The heating fund was established several years ago by the Franklin Area Ecumenical Ministry and annually serves nearly 100 households, distributing some $18,000 in funds raised through churches, community events and individual contributions.
Chicken supper
PHILLIPS – The Phillips Shared Ministry women are again tying on their aprons to prepare for the annual chicken supper, an October tradition of more than 100 years.
Diners may arrive at the Phillips Elementary School between 5 and 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, for a complete dinner, including chicken, gravy, peas, mashed potatoes, stuffing, rolls, coleslaw, cranberry sauce, squash, beverage and pie, for $7 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
