What impresses us about Sen. Susan Collins is her tireless work ethic. We cannot recount a moment where we have witnessed her sitting idle. Many of the Mainers she represents only see her public side as Maine’s 24/7 senator.

In her time as this state’s junior senator, she has established a record that supports what is best for the people of Maine, devoid of partisan influence.

In an age where partisan politics seems to be the norm, in Augusta and Washington, she is a breath of fresh air. Her ability to serve as one of the most effective members of Congress, regardless of the party in control of the Senate, is a true testament to her effectiveness.

Whether it is advocacy for Maine’s veterans, seniors, teachers or first responders, the people of Maine can be proud of the job she has done in Washington.
