RUMFORD – A Mass of Christian Burial for Rina Gallant was celebrated Saturday at Parish of the Holy Savior (St. Athanasius & St. John Catholic Church.) The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was celebrant. Mark Belanger was organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Here I Am Lord,” “Ave Maria,” “How Great Thou Art” and the prayer of St. Francis.

Readings were done by her daughter, Deborah Gurney, and granddaughter, Erica Farrar. Eulogies were given by daughter Cindy Giroux, son Kenny Gallant, granddaughters Amanda Bramble and Abigail Waleik. Pallbearers were Robert Samson, Nathan Gurney, Nicholas Gurney, Zachary Gallant, Joshua Gallant and Reed Farrar.

Interment was in St. John Cemetery. A reception followed in the parish hall. Relatives and friends may pay tribute to Rina at www.mem.com. Services were under the care of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
