Washington’s disturbing example of partisan impasse arises a general distrust of all persons in politics. Calls for change bombard us. But the sweeping change borne of emotion may carry higher risks than perceived rewards. The electorate must choose carefully and wisely.
Returning Rep. Mike Beaulieu to Augusta is a vote for exemplary service. Mike is a person of high intellect and integrity. He has demonstrated his critical thinking and uncanny ability to read, interpret and respond to constituent hopes, needs and expectations. He is an accomplished change agent whose contributions enhance the Legislature.
As a public education co-worker, I quickly learned of his dedication to the job and to what is right and just. Long before daylight and late in the day, he was on the job. Those characteristics remain constant. Rep. Beaulieu works across party lines without compromising his high ideals, principles and understandings.
Return him to Augusta!
