Lewiston – John K. Libby, 76, a resident of Merrill Hill Road, Greene, died Saturday, Sept. 13, at D’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.

He was born Oct. 3, 1931, in Lewiston, the son of John A. and Clara Mitchell Libby. John attended schools in Lewiston and graduated from Lewiston High School. In 1956, he married Kathleen Murphy; Kathleen passed away Jan. 4, 1982. For many years, John worked for Shaw’s and Hannaford supermarkets. He is survived by his brother, Herbert Libby and his wife, Eleanor, of Germany; his niece, Yvonne Libby of Indiana; his nephew, Kevin Libby of Germany and a good friend, Sheldon Bubier and his wife of Judith of Greene. He was predeceased by his parents and wife.
