The United States just gave the country of Georgia $1 billion. From what I’ve seen on the news and read, the United States spends $15 billion every month in Iraq. That is a boatload of money.

Iraq made $78 billion selling oil last year, oil for which more than 4,000 soldiers gave their lives. How about the United States sticks an American flag in the middle of Iraq’s biggest oil field and that oil becomes ours for awhile?

Whether Democrat or Republican, this needs to come to a halt right now. Enough is enough. The U.S. comes to the aid of anyone, worldwide, that it can, but we still pay $3.68 per gallon for fuel. The people controlling this country have no problem buying gasoline, heating oil or anything else they want. How about the people making between $20,000 and $40,000 per year?

Let’s keep our money here. John McCain thinks anyone who makes less than $5 million a year or less is “middle class.” I guess I’ll be dirt poor the rest of my life.
