LEWISTON – Richard P. Bussiere of China Village died at Central Maine Medical Center on Sept. 13.

He was born on March 2, 1954, in Lewiston, the son of Roland and Pauline (Violette) Bussiere. He grew up in Auburn and attended Auburn schools.

He owned and operated P C Junkyard in China Village until his death.

Ricky loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and watching sports, especially football and baseball. He liked to plant flowers and vegetables. He especially liked to plant pumpkins for his grandchildren. He was very gentle with and loved animals.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his dog, “Gismo” who was always with him.

He is survived by his mother, Pauline Bussiere of Lewiston; three daughters, Brandie of Connecticut, Shelley of Waterville and Aimee of Virginia; the mother of his children, Cindy Babbitt of Albion; his brother, Ronald and his wife, Brenda, of Turner; his sister, Suzanne and her husband, Garry Harlow, of Lewiston; his sister, JoAnn Brochu of Auburn; his nine grandchildren; a niece; and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father.

Ricky’s family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at CMMC for the wonderful care he received there.
