LEWISTON – St. Mary’s Health System named Brenda Robitaille as Physician Practice Quality Improvement coordinator.
Robitaille is responsible for developing and assuring the implementation of the Quality Plan for Maine Covenant as well as facilitating the implementation of system quality initiatives specific to outpatient physician practices. Robitaille is also responsible for establishing a process to guide the clinical quality care review process for the outpatient physician practices.
Robitaille graduated from the CMMC School of Nursing in 1987. She worked as a registered nurse for two years at a hospital in Omaha, Neb. She returned to Maine in 1990 and began working at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. After working on the telemetry inpatient nursing unit, Robitaille transferred to the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department. Her primary responsibilities there included educating patients about exercise and cardiac/pulmonary disease.
Robitaille lives in Greene with her husband and two children.
