LEWISTON – Willis Mansur Robinson, 87, passed away on Aug. 19, at Marshwood Center.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1920, in Augusta, son of the late Harold and Blanche (McPhee) Robinson. He was the husband of the late Jean Parker Clukey.

He was a World War II Army Air Force veteran; he was awarded the Bronze Star. He graduated from the University of Maine with a degree in electrical engineering and worked at Connecticut Light and Power until retirement. He was also a Realtor for the Beazley Co.

He lived in Wallingford, Conn., for 40 years and returned to Maine in 1991. He was a Mason and a member of the Sixth Street Congregational Church in Auburn. Until his vision failed, he volunteered as a medical transportation driver for the DAV.

He leaves two sons and daughters-in-law, Lynn and Susan Robinson and David and Eva Robinson; four grandchildren, Shawn, Amber, Jason and Tawni Robinson; and a great-grandson, Dakota Robinson, all in Connecticut.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Lila Hyde and Edna Smull.
