LEWISTON – To observe “National Employ Older Workers Week,” the CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way, will host a Job Fair from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Sept. 25. More than 25 employers will be on hand to talk about their openings and recruit from fair attendees. The job fair is open to all job seekers, regardless of age.

Employers scheduled to attend are: Androscoggin Bank, Opportunity Express, Goodwill of Northern New England, John F. Murphy Homes, Job Corps, University of Maine Systems, Women Unlimited, Express Professional, Alternative Manufacturing, Andover College, Sears, US Cellular, TD Banknorth, Manpower, Geiger Brothers, Adecco, Maine Staffing Group, FED EX, Bonney Staffing, and others.

In addition, service and training providers, such as Goodwill SCSEP and the National ABLE program, will be on hand, as will JobsinME and the Employment Times.

Positions for which companies are recruiting include, but are not limited to, production managers, technical, sales, customer service, accounting, assembly, production laborers, machine operators, personal and home care specialists, truck and delivery drivers (class A, B and C), banking and others.
