AUBURN – Central Maine Community College President Scott Knapp announced the following faculty appointments:

Stephen Doak will teach in the Business Administration and Management program. Doak has served as an adjunct instructor at CMCC and worked most recently at Andover College, where he served as chairman of the Business Department. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Maine and a master’s degree in business from Husson. A native of Belfast who now lives in Augusta, Doak also worked for CMP as an engineer in energy management and conservation.

Betsy Moorhouse will teach in the nursing program. Moorhouse joins CMCC as the nursing instructor serving the new nursing program extension in Damariscotta. A graduate of Columbia University, she earned her master’s degree in nursing at New York University. She served for 14 years on the faculty at the Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing in Montclair, N.J., and prior to that was the director of nursing at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Patterson, N.J. Moorhouse lives in Newcastle and brings more than 33 years experience to her new position.

Devin Watson will teach in the Machine Tool Technology program. Watson is an honors graduate of the CMCC machine tool technology program. A native of Presque Isle who now lives in Gorham, he earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial technology from the University of Southern Maine in 2006. He was most recently employed as a manufacturing engineer at Rich Technology in Scarborough, and he also worked at Lanco Assembly Systems in Westbrook.
