PORTLAND (AP) – Four cruise ships are making stops in Portland in the next six days, carrying more than 8,700 passengers among them.

The 916-foot Grandeur of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean ship carrying 1,950 passengers, will call on Portland on Saturday for a daylong stop before departing for Bar Harbor.

On Sunday, the Jewel of the Seas, a 962-foot Royal Caribbean ship, stops in port with more than 2,100 passengers. It will also stay the day before leaving Sunday night for Bar Harbor.

On Monday, the Carnival Victory, an 893-foot Carnival Cruise Line ship carrying more than 2,700 passengers, will stop for a daylong visit before departing for Saint John, New Brunswick.

Finally, the 965-foot Constellation owned by Celebrity Cruises comes to port on Thursday with some 1,900 passengers. It will stay the day as part of a 12-day New England-Eastern Canada cruise.
