WEST GARDINER – The wedding of Vicki Lynn McGarey and Edgar Henry Ouellette Jr. was held at 2 p.m., Aug. 16, at the West Gardiner Rod and Gun Club. Karen Ritchie, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Victor and Carolyn Ritchie of Auburn. The bridegroom is the son of Lillian McKenney of Augusta and the late Edgar Henry Ouellette, Sr.

The bride, given in marriage by her son, Brock Jellison, wore a white satin strapless gown with beads and sequins and carried a bouquet of pink and white roses wrapped with a white satin ribbon.

Tayla McGarey was maid of honor for her mother. Serving as best man was Forest Busque.

A reception followed at the West Gardiner Rod and Gun Club, after which the couple traveled to Niagara Falls, N.Y. They are residing in West Gardiner.

The bride is a 1988 graduate of Edward Little High School, and is currently employed at Yves Lapointe Drywall Inc. in Auburn.

The bridegroom is a 1988 graduate of Gardiner Area High School and is self-employed in the construction field.
