This is in response to the David Sirota column printed Sept. 12.

Rarely have I ever read such partisan nonsense.

Despite what Sirota states, young men are not forced to serve in the military. Maybe he is unaware that the military is all-volunteer.

Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is not scapegoating Latinos, but attempting to get the government to follow its own laws.

The slurs he assigns to former President Ronald Reagan and others are disgusting.

Rarely have I experienced such partisan nonsense and hate contained in Sirota’s screed.

I cannot understand how that man can be a bestselling author.
