BOWDOINHAM – A surprise party was given recently for Richard and Jennifer Bourget on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their children, Jarrod and Jessica Bourget.

Richard Joseph Bourget and the former Jennifer Sue Swatsky met at the University of Southern Maine and were married June 25, 1983 at St. Francis Cabrini Church in Piscataway, N.J. They went to Cape Cod, Mass., for their honeymoon.

For their anniversary, they took a trip to Old Quebec to celebrate the 400th year.

Mr. Bourget is an engineer at Pinkham and Greer in Falmouth.

Mrs. Bourget is a registered nurse at Mid Coast Pediatrics in Brunswick and is a licensed massage therapist with an office in Yarmouth.

They have resided in Bowdoinham most of their married lives.
