WAIKOLOA, Hawaii – The wedding of Jessica Anne Takach and Brendan Gilpatrick was held May 23 at the Waikoloa Hilton in Waikoloa, Hawaii. Dean Kauka officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Gilpatrick is the daughter of Dr. Robert Takach of Sidney and Andrea Brown of New Gloucester. Mr. Gilpatrick is the son of Ralph and Nancy Gilpatrick of Minot.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a simple white dress with Hawaiian flowers and pink orchid leis for the guests and white leis for the bride and bridegroom.
Lindsay Benson served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jackie Ernst and Joe Loubier.
Caleb Eulitt performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Dana Tuthe and Ross Duplissis.
A reception followed at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, after which the couple honeymooned in Kauai. They are residing in Westbrook.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and a master’s degree from the University of Southern Maine. She is employed at Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine and is employed at Disability RMS.
