AUBURN – E. Ada Parker Labonte, 84, of 19 White St., Lewiston, her home of 83 years, died Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice in Auburn, following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston on July 28, 1924, she was the daughter of Clarence A. and Loretta Reardon Parker. Raised in Lewiston, she married Arthur J. Labonte on Sept. 26, 1959. They made their home in Lewiston and enjoyed summering at their cottage on Bailey Island from 1970 to 2003, and wintered in Cape Canaveral, Fla., from 1981 to 1993. She enjoyed the company of cats her entire life, loved to play cards and enjoyed receiving company at home and going out to eat at local restaurants with family and friends.

A communicant of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, she is survived by her husband of Lewiston; her twin sister, May Burke of Lewiston; a niece, Ann Thomas of Bailey Island; beloved grand-nephew, Avery Thomas and her ragdoll cat, Miss Parker.

The family would like to thank the staff of d’Youville Pavilion and personal caregivers Diane Ryerson and family for all the loving care they gave Ada during her final years.
