AUBURN – Isabelle Marie Adams, 89, of 440 Minot Ave., formerly of Baird Avenue, Lewiston, died at Clover Living Center Sunday, Sept. 21.
She was born in Madawaska, Feb. 21, 1919, a daughter of the late George and Marie Lagasse Bouchard, she graduated from Frenchville High School, Class of 1937. She was married to the love of her life, Lawrence S. Adams. He died Oct. 7, 1977.
She was formerly a member of Holy Cross parish and worked as a secretary at Lown Shoe and later retired from Sableman Heel Co. in 1981.
She enjoyed social activities. She loved to play cards and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for always being a classy lady.
She is survived by her sisters, Mrs. Henry Doria Caouette of Mechanic Falls, Angie Charrette of Cross Lake and Dolores Michaud of Florida; her brothers, Robert Bouchard of Florida, and George Bouchard and wife, Joanne, of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
