LEWISTON – Lorin Marie Richards, 35, died peacefully in her sleep at her residence in Lewiston on Friday, Sept. 19.

She was born in Rumford, Jan. 17, 1973. She graduated from Mexico High School, Class of 1991, and had attended the University of Maine at Augusta. She was currently employed at L.L. Bean.

Her proudest moment was when her daughter Cassidy was born. She loved to cook and entertain for family and friends and had a natural gift for making people laugh. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and contagious smile.

Survivors include her daughter, Cassidy Kay Austin of Rumford; her mother, Lesli Doucette and husband, Jeffrey, of Little Pond, P.E.I.; her father, Randy Richards and wife, Gerry, of Byron; sisters, Lynn Marie Richards of Rangeley and Lisa Marie Richards of North Anson; and her companion, Paul Pessant of Lewiston.
