LEWISTON – A funeral Mass celebrating the life of Gerard J. Soucy was held on Tuesday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. Monsignor Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dick Bosse, Gerald and Rino Soucy, Joel Chasse, Lucien Soucy and Edgard Levasseur. A reception of fellowship was held at the Chickadee Restaurant, after the committal prayers at the cemetery.
