MEXICO – The following incidents were handled by the Mexico Police Department during the past week:

Arrests

Kathleen Greenleaf, 57, Harlow Hill Road, failure to appear on an operating under the influence charge, at 3:05 p.m., Sept. 24, on Harlow Hill Road. She was released from the Mexico Police Department on $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 7.

Two 14-year-old boys, both from Mexico, burglary and theft of an unspecified amount of money from a Carlton Avenue residence earlier in the day, at 6:28 p.m., Sept. 23. They were released to their parents and are scheduled to appear in juvenile court on Nov. 6.

Accident

Vehicles driven by Tammy T. Waugh, 42, of Blanchard Street, Rumford, and Craig K. Milledge, 24, of Tucker Street, collided at 9:35 a.m., Sept. 19, on Harlow Hill Road. Waugh’s 2005 GMC pickup sustained $1,000 damage. Milledge’s 2007 Ford sedan sustained $2,800 damage.

Vandalism

The owner of the Black Bridge Bakery reported theft of a new sign identifying the business at 10:26 a.m., Sept. 21. The sign was later found in the nearby Swift River.
