AUBURN – Yvonne M. Nadeau, 81, of West Poland died at Hospice House, Tuesday, Sept. 23.

She was born in Frenchville, Feb. 9, 1927, the daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Deschaine) Cyr. She was educated in schools at Frenchville. She worked in shoe shops until her retirement. On June 30, 1947, she married Willie Nadeau, who died Jan. 4, 2005.

She loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Cloutier and her husband, Larry, of West Poland; a son, Nelson Nadeau and his wife, Laurel, of Florida; two grandchildren, Kristina Greenleaf and her husband, Scott, of West Poland and Scot Cloutier and his wife, Lori, of Poland; five great-grandchildren, Connor Greenleaf, Ashley Cloutier, Brady Greenleaf, Joe Cloutier and Joshua Cloutier; two sisters, Birdie Pitts and her husband, Fred, of Houston, Texas, and Mary-Ann Cyr of Van Buren; sister-in-law, Evangeline Smith of Auburn; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by five brothers, Gilbert, Hector, Henry, Wally and Silvio.

Yvonne’s family wishes to thank the staff for their dedication and compassion at the Hospice House in Auburn.
