The road construction on Marston, Richardson and Towle streets in Auburn has been going on for several weeks now. Just prior to the start of this project, my daughter had serious head surgery. Part of her rehabilitation has been walking up and down Marston Street. The large trucks are traveling up and down the street constantly, and I want to say that not only do the Dearborn Construction Co. drivers travel cautiously up and down the street, but when they see us walking, they slow down even more, pull way over to the opposite side of the street, smile and wave to us.

I want to say thank you, publicly, to these workers, who have a hard job to do and still find time to be kind and courteous.

Tom Ray, Auburn
