In my life, I have been blessed to be around extraordinary people. Family members, friends, co-workers and students of mine have helped shape who I am.

Michael Beaulieu, who represents House District 68 in Auburn, has also had a significant impact on my life. As a student, I was lucky to have him as a teacher. His enthusiasm and passion for his students’ learning has helped many teenagers.

As a first-year teacher, he took time from his busy schedule to mentor me. He was kind enough to spend hours answering questions.

He has always had the sincere desire to help others. That is why he became a teacher and now why he is running for public office.

If voters in House District 68 in Auburn want an individual who cares about people and is genuinely committed to helping people, they should vote on Nov. 4 for Mike Beaulieu.
