I always enjoy the feature about how married couples met in the newspaper. From initial attraction through getting acquainted, falling in love, the engagement and marriage – the husbands and wives share interests, both common and separate. Their livelihoods, families, friends and community involvements add to the equation.

Together they manage the challenges, both picayune and monumental, as a loving and cohesive unit.

The serenity to accept the things they cannot change, the ability to change the things they can, and the wisdom to know the difference completes the unification.
