Yard sale

OXFORD – His Place Teen Center will hold a yard sale on Route 26 next to the fish market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Wednesday, Oct. 1 to 8.

The Alpha and Omega Thrift Shop will also have a sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the same time at the 39 Brown St., Norway.

Anyone who has items to donate should contact Bert Rugg at 515-3000 or 743-9503.

Proceeds benefit His Place Teen Center, reaching boys and girls age 11 to 18 in the Oxford Hills area.

Sibling classes

NORWAY – Stephens Memorial Hospital Family BirthPlace is offering sibling preparation classes for big brothers and sisters ages 3 1/2 to 7 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.

Facilitator will be Carol Welsh, RN.

Children will learn about becoming a big brother or sister by role playing, helping parents with easy chores, talking about feelings, safe sharing and having space.
