LISBON FALLS – University of Maine Cooperative Extension is launching a multi-county monthly e-newsletter for farmers and those in the farming community called Farm Scoop.
The content is being provided by local Extension Educators Richard Brzozowski and Tori Jackson and will include timely tips and information for farmers, notices of educational opportunities and brief updates on current research.
Content will be limited to a single page for each issue. In an effort to save money, the newsletter will be available via e-mail, or, for those without Internet access, a printed copy may be sent via mail.
Farm Scoop is available at no cost and will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 1. To sign up, contact the local UMaine Extension office. Those who live in Androscoggin or Sagadahoc counties should contact Jackie Jordan at 1-800-287-1458 or [email protected]. Those who live in Cumberland County should contact Colleen Hoyt at 1-800-287-1471 or [email protected]
