PHILLIPS – Management practices will be discussed in detail at a workshop on “Managing Your Small Woodlot for a Profit” from 8 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 3, at a small woodlot.

Patti Cormier of the Maine Forest Service will conduct the session. Franklin County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting the event. The Upper Kennebec Valley Chapter of SWOAM is co-sponsoring the workshop with the Maine Forest Service. Participants should dress according to the weather, because the workshop will be conducted outside. Cost is $20 and preregistration with payment is required.
