On Nov. 4, voters of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland will decide whether to accept the school reorganization plan developed by the Union 29 reorganization planning committee.

During the last four months, committee members from the three towns met each Wednesday, working to combine the three school districts into one.

I am proud to say that I found the relationship between all committee members to be outstanding; they were a pleasure to work with. The attitude of “one for all, all for one” was evident throughout the meetings. Everyone worked for the betterment of all the students’ welfare.

I find the reorganization plan to be a positive, long-term vision for the students of the three towns.

I urge all citizens of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland to support this plan.
