Dear Sun Spots: I would be interested in finding out when several craft shows are starting. There was a craft show that was held at the Lewiston Armory, I missed that last year and would be interested in when that show would be here this year. Thank you for all that you do, you have helped me with answers to many questions, even when I didn’t ask it, someone else did. Thanks again. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: My grandson is coming to visit. He has discovered two series of books, “The Happy Hollisters” and “The Bobssey Twins.” Of course these books are no longer in print, so I am hoping that your readers could help me locate some used books with these titles. I am not looking for collectors quality, but just some books for him to read and enjoy while he is with me. I would be interested in hearing from folks who have some of these books or who might know where I could find them. Call 966-2480. Thank you very much. – Velma, No Town.

Answer:
In addition to responses from readers, contact Artios Books, 180 Turner St., Auburn, 786-4007. After a quick search, they were able to come up with about seven of the “Bobssey Twins” books and one of the “Happy Hollister” books.

Dear Sun Spots: In the not too distant past, you ran an article containing a Web site that you could use to get your name off magazine mailing lists. Could you please provide that information again? Thank you. – Bob, Auburn.

Dear Sun Spots: Recently the Greene Fire Department and its auxiliary sponsored a spaghetti supper and raffle to benefit longtime firefighter Larry Langlais. Larry is battling pancreatic cancer and he very much appreciated the generosity of his friends, neighbors, fellow firefighters and strangers alike as it has been shown to him and his family over the last few months. Approximately $3,775 was raised by the supper and raffle. This money will support the many trips Larry and his family will make to Boston in the upcoming months. The Greene firefighters, their auxiliary members, Larry and his family wish to say “thank you” to all those individuals and businesses that helped to make these fundraisers such a huge success. Please continue to help by keeping Larry in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. – Brenda Theriault, Greene Fire Department Liaison.
