AUBURN – Lewiston-Auburn Community Little Theatre will hold auditions for “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” at 6:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 13-14, at Great Falls Performing Arts Center.

Performances will run from Jan. 22 to Feb. 1. Ellen Peters is the director with Paul G. Caron as musical director.

“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” is a hilarious revue of the mating game that takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum called “the relationship.” There are roles for two women and two men. Each will portray about 15 characters of a wide variety of ages and types.

Anyone auditioning should be prepared to sing two contrasting pieces of 32 bars each. Songs should be from a musical and showcase vocal range. Bring sheet music. A pianist will be available. No prerecorded music or a cappella auditions.

A character piece is preferred because the show is character driven. Those auditioning should be prepared to do cold readings from the script and possibly some improvisation exercises. They should also be ready to make bold physical and character choices.

Sides, or the scenes that will be done for auditions, will be posted on CLT’s Web site, www.laCLT.com, and can be downloaded and printed. Copies will also be available in the box office at 30 Academy St.

For more information, call the box office at 783-0958 or Peters at 782-2855.
