U.S. Sen. Susan Collins has announced that Lindsay Laferriere, right, a Wayne native, has been awarded a fall internship in Collins’ Washington, D.C., office. Laferriere’s primary duty will be to assist Collins with constituent relations. Laferriere, an undergraduate at George Washington University, is a 2007 graduate of Maranacook Community School. She is the daughter of Arthur Laferriere of Wayne and Ellen Miller of Winthrop.
