Once again, I take issue with the Sun Journal’s ivory tower critique of how the city councils of Lewiston and Auburn lack the political will to move the consolidation/collaboration process further
If there was any “low-hanging fruit” that clearly illustrated definite savings, I’m sure both councils would have embraced such recommendations
Unfortunately, such clearly defined savings and steps have not appeared, thus the hesitancy by both councils to merely tread water.
I take issue with the Sun Journal’s potshots from afar and out of the trenches.
