AUBURN – Chad Aaron LeClair, 21, resident of Foster Road in Auburn, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, at his residence, after battling a lifelong illness of untreated bipolar disorder.

He was born April 6, 1987, in Lewiston, a son of Benjamin “Pete” and Diane (Cote) LeClair.

He was currently employed as a mechanic at Tyler Trucking Co. and was pursuing his GED to continue his education in automotive technology.

He enjoyed spending free time working on street rods and spending time with his friends outdoors camping, fishing and four-wheeling. He was very close with his family and they were all very important to him.

He will be remembered by his friends and family as an incredibly outgoing individual that was always the “life of the party” and enjoyed life to its fullest.

Survivors include his parents of Auburn; a brother, Josh LeClair of Mechanic Falls; maternal grandparents, Francis and Norma Jean Cote of Sabattus; paternal grandmother, Inez LeClair of Auburn; aunts and uncles, Alita and Roland Gerardin, Frank and Kim LeClair, Alex LeClair and Laurie Paradis, Ward and Cher LeClair, Tom and Debbie LeClair, Stephen Cote, Cheryl Cote and Joan Soucie; as well as many cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Emil LeClair.
