NORWAY – Kenneth L. Stewart, 76, of Poland, died Monday, Sept. 29, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Livingston, Tenn., on Nov. 15, 1931, the son of Finnis and Daisy Robbins Stewart. He attended schools in Lewiston and faithfully served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.

He married Jane Hooper. He had been employed at several plants in the Lewiston, Auburn and Lisbon Falls area doing general maintenance. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working around his house.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Stewart of Rockland; a brother, Clayton Phillips and his wife, Pat, of Mechanic Falls; two sisters, Barbara Healy of Cromwell, Conn., and Crystal Dionne and her husband, Don, of Lewiston; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife in 2002.
