NORWAY – A ticket auction will be held on Friday, Oct. 10, at the Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St. The doors will open at 4 p.m. for a preview of the items and the annual auction will begin at 6.

For the past two months, Elaine Emery, Beth Allen and the Women’s Fellowship of the Second Congregational Church have been preparing more than 300 items for the auction. They include antiques and new items, toys and books, cakes and candles. All will be displayed and marked.

There will be $5, $10 and $20 envelopes, a dollar table and a 50/50 raffle. American chop suey, sandwiches, cookies, brownies and beverages will be available for purchase before and during the auction.

The Second Congregational Church is a member of the United Church of Christ and all are welcome to join. Worship and church school is every Sunday at 10 a.m. A nursery, staffed by professional childcare workers, is available for infants and toddlers. Following services every week, there is a traditional coffee and fellowship hour.
