LEWISTON – Funeral Mass for Fernand A. Pelletier was held Friday at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, after prayers from Dostie Funeral Home. Msgr. Marc Caron celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Members from the Army National Guard played “taps” in honor of Fern’s service to his country during World War II. They folded and presented our country’s flag to his wife Simonne. Pallbearers were his two grandsons Jesse Pelletier and Mark Sammon, Joseph Giguere, Raymond Rancourt, Guy Lebrun and Gaetan Theriault.
