Why doesn’t the Sun Journal just come out and endorse Sen. Barack Hussein Obama?
A McClatchy Newspapers article printed in the Sun Journal Sept. 26 pointed out that Sen. John McCain mispronounced the names of a few foreign leaders, but even he was chuckling about it during the debate.
I did not see where the Sun Journal checked on Obama’s claim about 95 percent of Americans getting a tax cut under his plan. According to various online sources, 40 percent of Americans do not pay income taxes.
Let me say again: 40 percent of Americans do not pay income taxes at this time. Obama is going to give those people a check – “redistributed wealth” – from people who do pay taxes, such as small business owners and corporations, or people whose parents die and leave an estate.
Obama’s other big issue is to tax big corporations their fair share to help with his spending habits. Big corporations were taxed like this under President Carter, when there was high inflation. Why? Because big corporations don’t pay taxes – they pass it on to the consumer with higher prices on their products that they produce, such as gasoline, shoes, food and clothes.
These are the concerns I wish the liberal press would start checking on.
