AUBURN – The wedding of Debra Leigh Humason and Stanford Fulgham was held at 6:30 p.m. on March 22 at the Auburn United Methodist Church. Pastor Richard Cullen officiated at the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Marcia Akers and the late Walter Humason, and stepdaughter of Carroll Akers of East Poland. The bridegroom is the son of Jacqueline Fulgham Harris and stepson of J.D. Harris of Birmingham, Ala.
The bride was given in marriage by her mother, Marcia Akers. Serving as matron of honor was the sister of the bride, Dawn M. Beaule. Flower girl was Saphryn K. Humason-Fulgham, daughter of the couple.
A brother of the bridegroom, Tyrone Fulgham, was best man. Ushers were Jeff Beaule, brother-in-law of the bride, Horice Fulgham, brother of the bridegroom, and Johnny Belanger and Paul Sadler, friends of the couple. Koby J. Humason-Fulgham, son of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to London, Paris and Amsterdam for two weeks. They are residing in Auburn.
The bride is a 1991 graduate of Edward Little High School and received a bachelor’s degree in political science and pre-law from the University of Southern Maine. She is a paralegal with Laskoff and Associates.
The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended undergraduate classes at the University of Maine at Farmington. He is employed at TD Banknorth in Lewiston.
